VIDEO: Azerbaijan Attempts to Justify Large-Scale Attack on Artsakh and Armenia, Says Pashinyan
In a statement on March 28, 2022, the Armenian National Security Council emphasized that Azerbaijan intends to carry out new provocations and attacks towards Artsakh, noting a significant likelihood of such developments occurring along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
"Like before the 44-day war in 2020, during it, and after, Azerbaijan is conducting a political discourse that justifies its military aggression against Armenia and Artsakh. They throw out theses and proposals on diplomatic and public platforms and then accuse Armenia of not responding or responding in a destructive manner or of rejecting these proposals. They attribute some promises to Armenia, weave in some agreements, and then within this discourse, they accuse Armenia of being destructive, rejecting proposals, and not fulfilling agreements. This rhetoric builds upon aggressive rhetoric, which is followed by aggressive actions justified by the narrative and formulations described above," Pashinyan stated.
According to Nikol Pashinyan, Azerbaijan's behavior continues even now, and he believes that Azerbaijan is attempting to build legitimacy for a large-scale attack against Artsakh and Armenia.
