Armenia Will Never Facilitate the Transfer of Foreign Terrorist Fighters to Ukraine, Says Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the false claim spread by Azerbaijan that mercenary terrorists are being transferred from Armenia to Ukraine via his Twitter page. He stated, “It is clear that Armenia, which suffered from the participation of terrorist mercenaries in the Nagorno-Karabakh war two years ago, will never facilitate the transfer of foreign terrorist fighters through its territory to Ukraine.”

Pashinyan also pointed out that the loud disinformation circulated by Azerbaijani sources and widely spread in the Western world, alleging that Armenia has supplied Russia with Su-30SM jets for use in Ukraine, is fake news. “Our Su-30SM jets have never left the borders of our country since they were imported,” the Prime Minister wrote.

It is noteworthy that during today’s government meeting, the Prime Minister vehemently denied the misinformation claiming that Armenia had sent Su-30SM aircraft to Russia. He also refuted the rumors about the transfer of mercenaries from Armenia to Ukraine.
