US to Allocate Additional $100 Million to Ukraine

The United States will allocate an additional $100 million for the purchase of armored vehicles, equipment, and medical supplies for Ukraine's police and border service, announced Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

"The additional funds will allow for the continued provision of defense equipment, field gear, tactical gear, medications, and communication tools for Ukraine's border services and police," his statement reads.

It is noted that this assistance will provide Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs with more capabilities to ensure necessary border security, perform law enforcement functions, and protect critical infrastructure.
