Ukrainian Politician: Opening Additional Fronts in Other Countries, Including Artsakh, Will Help Ukraine
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has stated that the opening of additional fronts in other countries, including Artsakh, will significantly aid Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. As reported by the Ukrainian Pravda news outlet, Danilov made this remark during a televised marathon.
“After Nagorno-Karabakh declared martial law, I can say that events are indeed unfolding there,” he said, noting that "Bayraktars" have been operating in the region. He also mentioned that Armenia has reached out to the Russian Federation for military assistance, but the Russian forces were pulled back from that area and sent to our country last week. We were monitoring the movement of those columns. We understand that the aid promised by the Russian Federation to Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia is unlikely to arrive there,” Danilov stated.
He also commented on Japan's claim regarding the four Kuril Islands, which led to Russia conducting exercises, albeit with a limited number of troops, as most have been sent to Ukraine. “How this situation will end is still unknown. However, if the Russian Federation opens second fronts, which it artificially created through its actions, this will qualitatively assist us,” the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council declared.
