German Deutsche Telekom Withdraws from Russia
The German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom has announced that it will limit its software development operations in the Russian Federation and consequently cease its activities in the country, reports UNIAN.
In Russia, it has a subsidiary, Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, with a workforce of over 2,000 employees. The division is involved in software development for telecommunications, automotive, and industry sectors for major Western clients, and also serves as an expert center in the field of Java software development and testing.
Employees of the Russian development center have worked in offices located in St. Petersburg, Voronezh, and Moscow.
