Why Ararat Mirzoyan Was Tense and Aggressive: 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that during a closed discussion on the topic of Artsakh, Ararat Mirzoyan was tense and aggressive, according to attendees. He accused one of the opposition members of being an agent, stating, 'Your question was born in the capital of another country.' He hinted that he is under a heavy burden and that provocations should not occur.
The opposition attempted to elicit a response on whether the authorities view Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan in any status. To the attendees' surprise, Mirzoyan did not say 'no' even in the absence of cameras. He diplomatically dismissed the question, noting that he has already expressed views on the five points, which are acceptable and debatable for Armenia.
Later, the opposition proposed to adopt a statement in the National Assembly, but the ruling party rejected it and did not participate in the voting.
