Netflix Removes Its App from Russia's App Store and Google Play

Netflix has removed its app from Russia's App Store and Google Play, according to Russian news sources.

On March 7, Netflix decided to cease operations in Russia due to the special military operation carried out by Moscow in Ukraine. Previously, the service had already halted its work on Russian original projects.

Currently, the service's content is only available to users who have managed to pay for a subscription, as residents of Russia can no longer extend it. Netflix launched its service in Russia in 2016.
