Former Armavir Mayor Ruben Khllaghatyan Sues Ministry of Justice and Wins
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that the former mayor of Armavir, Ruben Khllaghatyan, who is a relative of former MP Ruben Hayrapetyan (Nemets Rubo), has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia and the Probation Service of the Republic of Armenia.
According to "Zhoghovurd," the former mayor requested the court to compel the ministry and service to issue a favorable administrative act allowing him to travel for eight months each year from March 15, 2022, to November 30, 2025, to the village of Arshali in the Akmolinsk region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The reason for this travel request was not specified.
Judge Argishti Ghazaryan of the Administrative Court of Armenia has decided to obligate the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice to issue an administrative act permitting Ruben Khllaghatyan to travel each year from March 15, 2022, to November 30, 2025, for eight months to the village of Arshali in Kazakhstan's Akmolinsk region.
It is noteworthy that the decision came into force upon issuance, is not subject to appeal, and is to be executed immediately.
