Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has stated that the West will not succeed in bringing Russia to its knees.

“Our security proposals were rejected, the key elements of those ideas were ignored, we had no alternatives. I want to emphasize that the West’s illusions that it can bring Russia to its knees will never happen,” he said during an interview on the '60 Minutes' program on Russia 1 television channel.
