Photos: Snow Depth Reaches 6 Meters in Some Areas of Shirak Province

Snow removal operations are underway in Shirak Province. Service companies continue to work in emergency mode, as there are still closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the area. In some regions, snow depth reaches 3-5, even up to 6 meters. This was reported by the Shirak Province administration.

The highways connecting Tsogamarg-Ashotsk, Amasia-Shaghik, and the regions of Artik (Mets Mantash and Geghanist) remain closed (including intergovernmental, republican, and regional roads).

Other road sections in the Ani, Akhuryan, and Artik regions of the province are open and sufficiently passable. The routes Gyumri-Yerevan, Gyumri-Armyavir, and Gyumri-Vanadzor are open.

Motorists are urged to travel only when absolutely necessary.
