Russian Duty Free Shops Seek Government Support Amid Sanctions

Duty free shops in Russia have requested government support due to the impact of sanctions and a decline in passenger traffic. This was reported by RBK.

According to Alexander Kalinin, the president of the public organization 'Opora Rossii', the organization plans to initiate discussions soon within the Cabinet of Ministers regarding support for duty free shops.

Kalinin stated that it is essential to discuss specific measures with the Cabinet. At the same time, he believes that these measures could include preferential loans, grants, tax holidays, or exemptions from airport rentals.
