Microsoft to punish those who installed Windows 11 on unsupported hardware

Microsoft is set to warn Windows 11 users who have installed the operating system on hardware that lacks official support. This was reported by The Verge, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.

The latest preview version of Windows 11 (22000.588) includes a watermark that cannot be hidden or turned off. It informs the user that Windows is installed on an unsupported system, even if a legitimate copy of the OS has been purchased.

Due to the high system requirements of Windows 11, millions of computers worldwide have been left without an update. Shortly after its release, a workaround appeared that allowed users to install the operating system by bypassing the requirements, but Microsoft plans to fight against this.
