Oil embargo against Russia will 'hit everyone,' says official Kremlin

As previously reported, the EU is preparing a fifth package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a specific clause about imposing an oil embargo on Moscow.

Commenting on this, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated, “The decision to impose an embargo on Russian oil supplies will worsen the energy balance in Europe and will hit everyone.”

The issue of the embargo will be discussed by European diplomats today.
