Air Temperature to Rise

From March 21 to 22, and during the night and evening of the 23rd and 25th, localized precipitation is expected in various regions of the Republic of Armenia, with snow in the mountainous and sub-mountainous areas. This is reported by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In certain mountainous areas, blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility are anticipated. During the day on March 23 and 25, dry weather is expected.

The wind will be north-west at 3-7 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in certain areas on March 20.

The air temperature is expected to rise by 2-4 degrees during the day on March 21-22. The lowest temperatures will be recorded in Gegharkunik at -11 degrees (at night), while the highest will be in Armavir at +6 degrees.

In Yerevan, precipitation in the form of snow and rain mixed with snow is expected on the night of March 21, during the nights and evenings of the 23rd and 25th, and intermittently on the 24th. Dry weather is anticipated during the day on March 21, 22, 23, and 25.

The temperature in the capital is expected to be between +3 and +5 during the day, and between 0 and +2 in the evening.
