Video: Putin's Speech Broadcast Interrupted; Kremlin Provides Clarification
During a rally-concert held at Luzhniki, the broadcast of Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech was interrupted during the live airing by Rossiya-24 television. Instead, the singer Gazmanov appeared on the screens with his performance.
Presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov clarified why the broadcast of President Vladimir Putin's speech unexpectedly stopped during the rally-concert dedicated to the anniversary of Crimea's reunification with Russia. In a conversation with reporters, Peskov stated, "This was due to a technical malfunction of the server." He promised that "the full speech of the president will be repeated in a few minutes." At that point, Rossiya-24 was already showing the president's speech again.
The concert-rally dedicated to the day of Crimea and Sevastopol's reunification with Russia began at 15:00 at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
