State Duma Does Not Rule Out Possibility of YouTube Blocking in the Near Future

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma's Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, Sergey Boyarsky, has not ruled out the possibility of blocking YouTube in the near future. "This is possible against the backdrop of the current situation in the information space," Boyarsky stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported, citing its sources, that Roskomnadzor could block YouTube by the end of next week. On March 14, Roskomnadzor blocked the Instagram social network.
