Europe Has Lost 99% of Its Independence

European countries have lost 99% of their independence, becoming subservient to the United States. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with RT.

“What is happening in Ukraine is a consequence of the West's efforts to marginalize Russia and halt its development. The Americans have convinced Europeans that they know better what is needed for peace and security in Europe. Europe has lost 99% of its independence,” Lavrov stated, adding that Russia has already learned to cope with Western sanctions and has begun to restructure its economy.
