Ara Aivazyan No Longer Engaged in Diplomacy: 'Iravunk'
According to the newspaper 'Iravunk', former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazyan is no longer interested in diplomacy or politics. He stated, 'I have completely removed myself from both diplomacy and politics; I am now an ordinary citizen, and I am not concerned with any political or diplomatic issues,' Aivazyan said during a conversation while walking along Baghramyan Avenue.
When asked whether, as an ordinary citizen, he is concerned about the fate of Armenia, he simply noted, 'Well, I said, be well.'
However, the former minister should be well aware of the saying, 'If you do not engage in politics, politics will engage with you.' It is important to mention that regarding the 44-day war, Mr. Aivazyan has specific liabilities and information that he cannot simply disregard while claiming to be detached from politics. In short, the day may come when politics will seriously interest Mr. Aivazyan.
