A Bag Containing a Loaded Gun and a Folding Knife Was Thrown from a Mercedes, Arrests Made

Recently, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, on March 13, during their duty, the patrol officers of the Yerevan Police's 1st Company were conducting a chase at around 07:15 on Beknazaryan Street due to erratic driving and failure to obey a 'stop' signal. They stopped a Mercedes vehicle on Banishjaghyan Street.

As reported by the site, it was discovered that the vehicle was driven by 36-year-old Ararat S. from Yerevan, and the passenger was 31-year-old Edward H. from Yerevan, who threw a bag from the vehicle during the chase. The patrol officers examined the bag in their presence, which contained a loaded gun and a folding knife.

The aforementioned individuals were taken to the Mashtots Police Department on suspicion of carrying weapons and ammunition, while during the incident, severe insults were directed at 32-year-old Sergey K. from Yerevan, and Edward H. inflicted physical pain by kicking Sergey K. in the leg.
