PHOTOS: Currently, there are not 3, but 4 Azerbaijani armed incursions in Armenian territory – Arman Tatoyan
Former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan made a Facebook post stating that there are not 3, but 4 incursions by Azerbaijani armed forces into Armenian territory. The post mentions the following:
Currently, there are not 3, but 4 incursions by Azerbaijani armed forces into Armenian territory:
- Siyunik Province, Nerkhin Hand village - March 2022.
- Siyunik Province, Goris community (Sev Lake area, near Akner and Verishen villages) - May 2021.
- Gegharkunik Province, Vardenis community (Kut, Verin Shorja, and several other villages) - May 2021.
- Siyunik Province, the border area adjacent to Tsav village - October 2020.
I ask everyone not to ignore the incursion in the Tsav village area and to take it into account in all actions.
Furthermore, the illegal presence of Azerbaijani armed personnel on the Goris-Kapan and Kapan-Jakaten roads (November-December 2020), as well as the illegal blockades of these roads (November 2021), should not be overlooked.
We should not forget that since November 2020, Azerbaijani armed personnel have frequently been present near Armenian villages, often with legitimate documents dating back to Soviet times, in areas and homes belonging to Armenian residents and community property.
Amid all this, Azerbaijani authorities continue their policy of incitement to hatred and hostility at the highest levels, and their presence has made it impossible for our border residents to lead a normal life.
