Bomb Threat on Flight from Domodedovo to Yerevan
On March 17, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. A report was received by Zvartnots International Airport that a plane arriving from Moscow would explode shortly after landing.
According to shamshyan.com, emergency responders from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived quickly on the scene. Also present were patrol officers from the Yerevan division of the Armenian police.
The situation at the airport is calm, as if no such alert has been issued, while the aircraft, which was arriving from Domodedovo, landed at an alternate location due to safety concerns. Relevant service personnel are currently verifying whether the threat is genuine or not.
The caller claimed that two bombs were placed on the aircraft. The police are working to identify the caller.
