Surena Papikyan and the Iranian Ambassador Meet: Discussion Highlights

On March 15, Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zuhuri. The meeting also included Colonel Bahman Sadeghine, the military attaché of the Iranian embassy in Armenia.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the parties discussed the prospects of Armenian-Iranian bilateral cooperation and addressed several issues related to regional and international security. Minister Papikyan also presented the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Artsakh.
