Margarita Simonyan and Tigran Keosayan to Build 1000 Sqm Villa in Sochi

RT television network and "Russia Today" news agency editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan and her husband, NTV television show host and director Tigran Keosayan, are constructing a villa in Sochi with an area of over 1000 sqm. According to general regulations, the land registered in Keosayan’s name allows for the construction of a house no larger than 300 sqm, but an exception has been made for this building, reports Alexei Navalny's associate Georgy Alburov.

In January, a notification was published on the Sochi City Hall website regarding the start of a "public discussion" about the draft decision. The accompanying documents include floor plans and designs for the three-story villa. The villa will feature 10 dressing rooms, a 100 sqm dining room, a room for staff, an elevator for the house, and a pond.
