Export of Luxury Cars to Russia Banned, Sanctions Imposed on Tigran Khudaverdyan and Abramovich
Details have emerged regarding the European Union's fourth package of sanctions against Russia. This time, the sanctions target Russian military-industrial complex enterprises (such as Rosoboronexport, Russian Helicopters, etc.) and impose restrictions on trade involving iron and steel with Russia.
Sanctions are being imposed on the energy companies Rosneft, Transneft, and Gazpromneft. Investments in Russia's energy sector have been banned, except for nuclear energy.
Additionally, the export of luxury goods to Russia has been prohibited, including luxury cars valued at over 50,000 euros. Furthermore, personal sanctions have been imposed against oligarch Roman Abramovich, Konstantin Ernst, CEO of Channel One, Shokhin, head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and Mikhayev, head of Rosoboronexport.
Reports also indicate that the KAMAZ automotive company and Tigran Khudaverdyan, CEO of Yandex, have also come under sanctions.
