Everything I Saw and Heard in Artsakh Was Highly Concerning, Vanceyan Details
The leader of the "Honor" parliamentary group and president of the "Homeland" party, Arthur Vanceyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Artsakh and the people of Artsakh need all of us and each of us today. My working visit to Artsakh has come to an end. It is difficult to summarize it without emotions. The wounded Artsakh is facing serious trials today; in addition to security issues, daily threats, and unresolved political questions, a humanitarian disaster has also emerged, through which the enemy is trying to apply psychological pressure on our compatriots living in Artsakh.
The focal point of several meetings I had in Stepanakert was exactly these issues—from social and humanitarian challenges to military and security threats. The problems are indeed numerous, and with each subsequent visit, I sadly note that they are increasing. I had discussions related to all of this, exchanged opinions with my colleagues from Artsakh, and acquainted myself with the questions that concern the public on the spot.
Everything I personally saw and heard in Artsakh was highly concerning. I do not have a clear vision of the solutions to all problems at this time, but I am more than certain of one thing: today we must all unite around and for Artsakh, and we must start working on finding solutions as soon as possible, otherwise we will face the real danger of losing even the small part of Artsakh that remains.
Unfortunately, in such a complex situation, there are no authorities in Armenia demonstrating the will and determination to find solutions. Therefore, we have to rely solely on our own strengths: all of us and each of us, especially political forces, must consolidate around Artsakh and stand behind our compatriots in Artsakh.
Our political force will initiate discussions in the coming days to understand and develop our actions in this direction. We plan to demonstrate an approach that is as swift and as comprehensive as possible towards developing an action program and finding solutions.
Artsakh and the people of Artsakh need all of us and each of us today."
