No Need to Form Self-Defense Units in Practice: Artsakh Security Council Office

The Artsakh Security Council office has issued a statement, which we present in full below:

“Certain media outlets and social media pages are circulating information claiming that ‘self-defense units’ are being formed in various communities of the Republic. We declare that the Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh, in collaboration with the Russian peacekeeping forces, is carrying out its assigned tasks in full. News regarding the formation of additional structures is false, as there is practically no need to form such units.

We urge the public not to succumb to false news and to follow only official information.”
