Landslide Active in Syunik, Reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a call on March 11 at 14:04 reporting that a landslide had activated near house number 17 on Azatamartikneri Street in the city of Kapan. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. It has been determined that a landslide (10 meters wide, 40-50 meters long, 4-5 meters deep) has activated in the vicinity of the mentioned address, which is located in a landslide-prone area.
