Turkish Airlines Changes Ticket Purchasing Rules for Russians

Turkish Airlines has modified its ticket purchasing rules for Russian citizens. This information has been reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), as stated by Lenta.ru.

The reason for this decision is the blocking of Russian Visa and Mastercard cards, which has led to payment-related issues. Now, Russians can buy tickets for any route, but they must necessarily start or end in Russia. In addition, the ticket must be the same for all segments of the journey.

ATOR has clarified that Russians will not be able to purchase a separate ticket for flights from Turkey to another country, such as the USA or Spain. "In other words, it is no longer possible to fly Turkish Airlines outside the Russia-Turkey corridor," the statement said.
