Today, at the latest tomorrow, we will have to relieve you of your ministerial position: Pashinyan to Khachatryan

At today's government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that it would be the last session attended by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, Vahagn Khachatryan, as he will be assuming the position of President of Armenia.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Khachatryan for their joint work and wished him success.

Khachatryan also expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him over the past seven months, allowing him to serve as a member of the government.

“I am very satisfied and touched by the atmosphere created in the government, which allowed me to utilize my knowledge and experience in managing the ministry. Believe me, the attitude of my colleagues in the government towards me has been marked, and I am not sure what it is attributed to, but I want to thank everyone,” said the minister.

He noted that he is confident they will achieve success together.
“Our people should be assured that the programs planned by the government will be implemented through our joint efforts,” Khachatryan stated.

Pashinyan then joked that today, at the latest tomorrow, he would have to relieve Khachatryan of his ministerial position.
“One day that comes,” Khachatryan responded.
