I Will Not Appoint You Out of Spite: "Hraparak"

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Aragatsotn regional governor Sergey Movsisyan has taken our publication about him hard and has decided to show that he is indeed the governor in the region, unlike what we wrote, that it is the community leader of the Aparan region, Karen Yeghiazaryan, known as Gntunik's Karen, in Ashtarak, Tovmas Shahverdyan, and in Talin, Tavros Sapehyan, who really hold power.

We reported that the governor is forced to consider these individuals, who are more accepted in their areas than he is. We noted that this situation has led to Yeghiazaryan’s close associates being re-elected in Aparan schools.

Yesterday we learned that the governor appointed a temporary director for the Vardenis community school in the Aparan region, not the acting director, Rouzanna Makaryan, whose contract expired on March 3, and whom the governor had promised to appoint at Yeghiazaryan's request, but another teacher, Anush Papikyan.

Parents of the school’s students informed us that Makaryan has taken this decision so hard that she is planning to organize a boycott against the new acting director and is also working with teachers to ensure that students do not attend classes.

We were told that Makaryan's nephew is a member of the "Karen Yeghiazaryan Alliance" and currently a council member.

We also learned that the governor has canceled the reappointment of another associate of the community leader, Naira Ghazaryan, to the position of director of School No. 2 in Aparan. On the day of the competition, the school council members did not attend the meeting, and the governor appointed someone else as acting director.
