Dog That Escaped From Owners During Walk Returns Home by Bus
A border collie in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, successfully navigated its way back home by bus after escaping from its owners during a walk. This incident was reported by The Sun.
The dog's owners, 25-year-old Charlotte Jones and 23-year-old Saffron Caps, expressed their despair when their pet ran away. British authorities said that the couple posted advertisements online and began their own search, but it yielded no results.
According to Caps, everything changed when a neighbor called to inform her that she had spotted Pepper on a bus. “Your dog is on bus number seven,” the woman told her, sending a photo of the pet to the owners.
