Zelensky Thanks Biden for 'Strongest Signal to the World'
Every cent that Russia receives from the sale of energy resources turns into bullets and shells that fly to other countries. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message.
He expressed gratitude to White House leader Joe Biden for the 'strongest signal to the world' he sent by banning the import of Russian oil, gas, and coal to the U.S.
According to the Ukrainian leader, either Russia will respect international law, or it will have no money to start military operations.
'They will find another gas station... But the ban on U.S. oil imports will economically, politically, and ideologically weaken the terrorist state, as it concerns freedom, the future, and where the whole world will move to,' Zelensky said.
Recall that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation for the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that circumstances 'require decisive and immediate actions from us, as the people’s republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for assistance.'
According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will lie on the conscience of the regime in power in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian soldiers not to carry out the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.
