We will not surrender and we will not lose: We will defend Ukraine at all costs, says Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has declared the readiness of Ukrainians to fight for their country until the end. This was reported by news.liga.net.

"We will not surrender and we will not lose; we will go until the end – we will fight in the seas, we will fight in the air. Defend our land, at any cost! We will fight in forests, in fields, in cities and villages, on the shores and hills, along the banks of the Kalmius and Dnipro, and we will not surrender," Zelensky said while addressing the Parliament of Great Britain.

The Ukrainian leader compared his country's war against Russia to “the efforts of Great Britain in World War II.”

"On the first day, at 4 a.m., winged missiles flew towards us. This is how everyone woke up. We all stood up to form a great army," Zelensky stated.

Zelensky thanked British Prime Minister Boris Johnson for supporting Ukraine and urged to increase pressure on Russia through sanctions. The Ukrainian leader called on London to recognize Russia as a 'terrorist state.'

British Prime Minister Johnson emphasized that London will apply all diplomatic, humanitarian, and economic methods to exert pressure on Moscow until Russia stops its military operations in Ukraine, and "Ukraine becomes free again."
