Ukraine Was Preparing a Large-Scale Attack in March: Secret Order from Commander of Ukraine's National Guard
The special military operation conducted by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation prevented and foiled a large-scale attack by Ukrainian forces against the People's Republics of Luhansk and Donetsk in March 2022.
According to TASS, this was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, during a press briefing.
“Since February 24, the special military operation conducted by the Russian Armed Forces has thwarted the large-scale offensive of Ukrainian strike groups against the People's Republics of Luhansk and Donetsk, which are not controlled by Kiev,” Konashenkov said.
He pointed out that it remains unclear how deeply the US and NATO were involved in the planning and preparation of the Ukrainian military's operation to assault Donbas.
“Thus, it remains uncertain only one question: how deep were the US leadership and its NATO allies involved in the planning and preparation of the operation to attack Donbas by the Ukrainian forces in early March,” he stated.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense has published the secret order from the Commander of Ukraine's National Guard dated January 22, 2022, regarding the attack on Donbas planned for March of that year.
“The Ministry of Defense of Russia is publishing the original of the secret order by the Commander of Ukraine's National Guard, General-Colonel Nikolai Balany, dated January 22, 2022... The document is addressed to the leaders of Ukraine’s National Guard’s northern Kyiv, southern Odesa, and western territorial directorates,” Konashenkov added.
The general emphasized that “the signatures of the officials responsible for the implementation of the tasks of the Ukrainian National Guard Command are on the document.”
According to him, in the order delivered to the Commander of the Ukrainian National Guard, there is a detailed description of the preparation plan for offensive operations by strike groups in the so-called area of the “joint forces operation” in Donbas.
It should be recalled that in the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In his television address, he stated that the circumstances “require us to take decisive and immediate actions, as the people’s republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for assistance.”
According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will rest on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He urged Ukrainian soldiers not to carry out the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, lay down their arms, and return home.
