Russia's Actions in Ukraine Proceeding According to Plan: Reports from the Russian Foreign Ministry

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the Russian military special operation in Ukraine is proceeding strictly according to plan. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

“The special military operation of the armed forces continues to be carried out, it is proceeding strictly according to plan,” she said.

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry representative emphasized that the operation is not directed against the civilian population.

“The issues do not include the occupation of Ukraine, the destruction of its statehood, or the overthrow of the current government,” Zakharova added.

She noted that negotiations are taking place with Kyiv aimed at stopping the senseless bloodshed and resistance of the Ukrainian army.

According to her, during this period, nearly two million people have requested evacuation to Russia, of which 140,000 have already been evacuated.
