Azimuth Airline to Conduct Additional Flights from Yerevan Starting Tomorrow

Starting tomorrow and until the end of the week, Azimuth airline will operate additional flights from Yerevan and Istanbul to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody.

The airline announced that from March 10-13, 2022, it will perform additional flights to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody from Istanbul and Yerevan, according to an official statement from the airline.

Previously, the Federal Air Transport Agency had advised airlines to halt flights to foreign destinations using aircraft registered abroad from midnight March 6, and to suspend arrivals from abroad starting March 8.

The agency recommended that Russian citizens use commercial flights from foreign airlines that do not restrict air travel with Russia for trips to third countries. Additionally, Russian citizens were advised to return via flights from Russian or foreign airlines, such as those from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Serbia.
