Zelenskyi Says He Has Lost Interest in Ukraine's NATO Membership

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated during an interview with American ABC television that he has "cooled off" on the issue of NATO membership for his country. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Regarding NATO, he said, "I lost interest in this issue a long time ago; we realized that NATO is not ready to accept Ukraine, the alliance is afraid of conflicts and confrontations with Russia," the head of state noted. He also emphasized that Kyiv is not "begging on its knees" for anything from Brussels.
