Ukraine Receives Weapons from 15 Countries
The Pentagon spokesman, John Kirby, stated that the Ukrainian armed forces have received weapons from 15 countries and are utilizing them effectively. In the wake of the Russian military operations that began on February 24, Western countries have started to increase their arms supplies to Kyiv.
During a briefing, Kirby mentioned that the Ukrainian army is receiving weapons not only from the United States but also from 14 other countries. “And we know that they are using it, and they are using it very effectively. You can see the results for yourself,” the Pentagon representative added.
It is worth recalling that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that the circumstances “demand decisive and immediate actions from us,” adding that the Donbas republics had requested assistance from Russia.
According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for the bloodshed will lie on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian military personnel not to obey the criminal orders of their authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.
