Kyiv Does Not Allow Citizens to Evacuate to Russia: Russian Defense Ministry

The representatives of the Kyiv authorities do not allow citizens to evacuate to the Russian Federation. This statement was made by the head of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Defense Ministry, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev.

“Official representatives of the Kyiv authorities have received strict orders to prevent any attempts to evacuate to Russia. Information about possible evacuation to Russia and the establishment of humanitarian corridors for this purpose is simply not conveyed to citizens,” Mizintsev told reporters.

He noted that any attempt to leave Russia via humanitarian corridors is sharply blocked by nationalists.

Mizintsev also stated that the evacuation of 223 foreign nationals from dangerous areas in the Kherson region is ongoing, and Ukraine is not participating in this process. According to him, these numbers will increase as operations continue.
