The Enemy Threatens Residents of Kharamort with Force if They Do Not Leave the Village Peacefully
For the second day in a row, the enemy, currently near Kharamort using GPS, is threatening residents through loudspeakers in literary Armenian, stating that if they do not leave the village peacefully, they will be forced to use force. This was reported by Tsovinar Barkhudaryan, the editor and presenter of the Artsakh Public Television, on her Facebook page.
She emphasized that the enemy claims that Kharamort is a part of Azerbaijan and, in general, that all of Artsakh is Azerbaijan. They assert that we have occupied their lands. Now, imagine the situation of the 87 residents of Kharamort and the 11 displaced families who have taken temporary shelter there since the war.
Can you picture how they hear that voice every half hour while going to school, working in the garden, hanging the laundry, or eating a piece of bread? Can you imagine? Now tell me, how can you possibly see any positive aspect in this news? Should I be happy that they are at least warning us and not just coming in and causing destruction right away? Can you say that?
If you don’t know, let me tell you that Kharamort is located 6 km from the regional center Askeran and 21 km from Stepanakert. You will sit quietly one day, and you may find brochures on your balconies, if not again, bombs...
