Is Zelensky Disappointed with Biden? What the Ukrainian President Has Said

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that U.S. President Joe Biden could do more for Ukraine in its war against Russia. He stated this during an interview with ABC News.

“I am confident that he can, and I would like to believe that. He is capable of it,” said Zelensky.

He again emphasized the necessity of ensuring the security of the country’s airspace, calling on the U.S. and NATO for assistance, although to no avail.

“We cannot allow Russia to act this way. They are bombing us, shooting at us, sending missiles, helicopters, fighters, and many other things,” stated Zelensky.

He also warned Western countries that the war in Ukraine will not end soon. The assault on freedom could have repercussions for the rest of the world.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that circumstances “demand decisive and immediate actions from us, the populations of the Donbas republics have appealed to Russia for help.”

According to the Russian leader, all the responsibility for the bloodshed lies with the regime in power in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian soldiers not to obey the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.
