Azerbaijan Deliberately Escalates Situation, Beglaryan Says
Azerbaijan is deliberately escalating the situation by firing towards the cemetery in the village of Kharamort and killing an Armenian serviceman at the border with Armenia. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Artak Beglaryan, on his Telegram channel.
“Of course, this provocation is primarily aimed at terrorizing our society. On the other hand, attempts to tarnish the reputation of Russian peacekeepers are also evident. This is evidenced by the unprecedented trends of anti-Russian sentiment in Azerbaijani media in recent times,” wrote the Artsakh Prime Minister.
According to Beglaryan, the traditional anti-Armenian policy is now being complemented by a state-level organized anti-Russian policy, which, in this case, is directed against their military ally.
“This once again highlights the actions of Azerbaijani authorities, aiming to achieve their geopolitical goals by sowing hatred against other nations and distracting society from internal issues. One day, Azerbaijan will choke on its own hatred,” concluded Beglaryan.
