Operation "The Red Cow Doesn't Change Its Skin" Conducted in Yerevan

The patrol police of the Yerevan division of the RA Police have discovered several law-breaking drivers in the capital over the past few months, who were driving vehicles with replaced or fake license plates.

According to shamshyan.com, on March 6, an operation titled "The Red Cow Doesn't Change Its Skin" was conducted in Yerevan.

The website reports that operational information was received in the patrol police indicating that a black Mercedes CL63 was cruising in the capital with fake license plates.

The vehicle was found to have the license plates 700 OZ 07, under which it had been active in Yerevan. Its actual license plates were 37 CV 050.

The driver was identified as 36-year-old Gurgen Abrahamyan, a resident of the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan, whose father was a former police officer. Gurgen Abrahamyan had previously faced administrative liability for a similar offense and had his driving license revoked.
