Azerbaijani Side Intensively Fired in the Taghavard Area for Nearly Two Hours
Intense gunfire was heard from an Azerbaijani position located near the village of Taghavard in Artsakh yesterday from noon until late evening, as reported by Sevak Khachatryan, the deputy mayor of Taghavard, in an interview with ‘Factinfo’.
“At noon, starting from 1:00 PM, they began firing. For about two hours, there was intense shooting, and then they fired intermittently,” Khachatryan said, adding that the situation has been relatively calm today.
For several days now, there have been active disinformation campaigns in the Azerbaijani media, which, as past experiences have shown, are often followed by provocations from the Azerbaijani side. This time was no exception; both at the Yerasx section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and along the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani armed forces continue to engage in provocations.
