Kadyrov Urges Putin to Order the Capture of Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Other Cities
Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov has requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to order the capture of Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other cities via his Telegram channel, arguing that the slowdown of actions leads to unnecessary casualties.
“Comrade Supreme Commander, I ask you to give the order quickly—within one or two days—to take Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other cities. I have said several times that I am your ordinary soldier and am ready to give my life at your command. But I cannot watch our soldiers die. Do not pay attention to the words of the West; order the capture of the city with minimal casualties. Only in this way can the issue be resolved,” he stated, adding that “Nazi devils must be destroyed.”
On February 24, early in the morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the initiation of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics and removing Ukraine's “Nazi regime.” The U.S. and the EU have assessed this military action as direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
On February 28, negotiations took place, and the second round was scheduled for yesterday, March 2, but Ukrainian negotiators were unable to arrive at the negotiation venue on time, pushing the talks to today.
