30-Year-Old Driver Crashes Mercedes Off Road, Hitting Tree and Electrical Pole

A major car accident occurred today, March 4, in Yerevan. Around 2:30 AM, 30-year-old Vilun A. lost control of his Mercedes vehicle and veered off the roadway near house number 53 on Arshakuniats Avenue, crashing into a tree and then continuing forward to collide with an electrical pole.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, fire and rescue personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' number 2 fire and rescue unit arrived promptly to extract the driver from the wreckage. He was subsequently transported to the 'Erebuni' Medical Center.

The emergency medical team in Yerevan also acted quickly, administering first aid to the injured individual at the scene before he was taken to the hospital. An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
