Russian and Belarusian Bank Cards Cease Operations in Ukraine
Bank cards issued by financial institutions from Russia and Belarus have ceased to operate in Ukraine, according to Ukrainian news reports.
It is worth recalling that on March 2, the European Union disconnected 7 Russian banks from the international SWIFT system. The ban applies to VTB, Rossiya, Otkritie, Novikombank, Promsvyazbank, Sovcombank, and VEB banks. The prohibition will take effect on March 12.
