Russia Will Not Allow Ukraine to Acquire Nuclear Weapons: Lavrov Comments

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Russia will not allow Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons. At the same time, Lavrov noted that a third world war would be nuclear and devastating. This was reported by tsargrad.tv.

It is worth recalling that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky directly stated that Ukraine intends to obtain nuclear weapons during the conference in Munich in 2022. Moreover, Zelensky's words were met with applause from diplomats of Western countries.

Speaking about the situation in Ukraine, Lavrov also mentioned that the representatives of official Kiev are delaying negotiations at the direction of the United States. Interestingly, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has also commented on the situation related to the negotiations. According to him, amidst numerous conflicting reports about the course of the negotiations, one confirmed piece of information can be highlighted: today, in the afternoon, the Russian diplomatic delegation will be on-site waiting for the Ukrainian negotiators. By this evening, Russian representatives will be ready to continue the dialogue with Kiev's opponents.
