Azerbaijani MPs Visit Yerevan's Blue Mosque, Claim It as Their Own

Azerbaijani parliament members Tahir Mirkişili and Soltan Mamedov, who participated in the "Euronest" parliamentary assembly committee meeting in Yerevan, visited the Blue Mosque.

This was reported by MP Tahir Mirkişili on his Facebook page. "As far as we know, this is the only preserved Azerbaijani monument in Yerevan. And although there are inscriptions from another state on its walls, the walls, architecture, and spirit belong only to us. We felt at home. We believe that the true owners of this mosque will soon be able to offer their prayers here," the MP wrote.
