Mother and Child Caught Under Fire in Kherson

A woman and her child from the Kherson region found themselves under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, the boy is in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Simferopol, as reported on Telegram by Crimea's leader Sergey Aksenov.

According to him, the vehicle they were traveling in was shelled. “The mother has died. Crimean doctors are fighting for the child’s life. I wholeheartedly wish him a speedy recovery,” Aksenov wrote.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the public, announcing the start of a special military operation in Donbas. The state leader referred to the requests for military assistance from the self-proclaimed leaders of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
